For all your leather-on-willow needs:
I believe we plan to do our Summer's watching of the game of gentlemen on August the 21st; I'm not sure if I can get the day off or not...what time is kick-off? If it's relatively late I could sneak out slightly early...or just chip along half-way through the day...anyway I'll make it somehow. Haven't asked my brother yet, will get round to it all soon.

Kick off is either 10.30 or 10.45.
If you could get there for lunch then you would have missed only one session of course, so could still be worth doing.
How about this summer lads?
I believe that tickets may well be already going fastish, it is the Aussies after all.
Roight. Pakistan anyone? 17-21 August, The Oval. I have friends who want to go (one already has a ticket), I want to go, Tart might be convinced to go. How 'bout it?

I'll be driving back from Wales on the Saturday, but count me in for the Sunday. Bish bash bosh on your napper, chum.
Me please sir
Ooh cricket... yum yum
Just read this article that India's new swing bowling messiah, Sri Sreesanth, is also a former national breakdancing champion?
ha!
Just got me thinking, any other unlikely crossovers of sportsmen that could be good for the England cricket team?

I've always thought that Trescothick looks like a farmer.

Did anyone see any of the one day between Australia and South Africa today? Absolutely mental.
Australia got 434 runs, smashing the world record innings for a one day. THEN, South Africa went and got 438 and beat them just to completely take the piss.
Suddenly it makes the 600+ totals on Twelfth Man look not quite so ridiculous.
Well done to the England Cricket team
from a team of debutants crickets equivalent of Teddy Sheringham and a modern day cricketing genius (flintoff), they managed to beat India in a test over there for the first time in 21 years.
Kind of makes you wonder what the hell we were doing for the previous 21 years.
sorry for the lack of commas in the above post, on ration at PwC at the moment. Apparently there is going to be a drought in the comma supply in summer.

What news on cricketing biscuits?
Oh that was sold out way before it occurred to me to look. Need to plan for next year NOW.

Bumflaps. Fancy a bit o' cricket this summer.
By the way just to give you all fair warning (ie over 3 months), I am planning on doing something LARGE for my 25th Birthday this year. Not sure what yet but its going to be kerrazy Mrs Fawlty.
So don't go planning anything for the weekend of 2nd/3rd September.
Absence will not be acceptable without valid excuse (ie death)
Big up yourself rude boy.
The theme music for the cricket on Sky Sports is genius. It took me ages to realise, but its the 'I dont like cricket, I love it' from Dreadlock Holiday by 10cc, except sung in a sort of operatic 'Jerusalem' style by a full on choir and orchestra.
Fantastic.
