It has come to my notice that no-one has posted for a while. I therefore take it upon myself to create this new topic, in which I hope that people can avail themselves of whatever is on their minds at the current instant.
This is what is on my mind at the present moment:
How Derek the hamster contributed to the downfall of Che Guevara:
Of course, he wasn't aware of this at the time. While sunbathing on the Costa del Sol he received a phone call from El Twingo the Fridge Inspector, who informed him that the aforementioned Mr Guevara would soon be flying over Grimsby on his way to Sri Lanka. Derek removed the sniper rifle out of his backpack, loaded it, affixed the fax machine to the side, and stood atop the nearest mountain. From here he had the perfect view of a Benny Hill Show being repeated on ITV2. The fuselage of the twin engine B24 bomber ripped open as Guevara and his entourage plummeted to the ground. On climbing out of the wreckage, it was here that Guevara realised his true vocation: celebrity TV chef in Algeria.
>The series went straight to video.
>Derek the hamster is now living in a bungalow in Lanarkshire.
>El Twingo still inspects fridges in his spare time.
It's not quite Malcolm Cox-esque, but it's close.
Jonnyboy, we must commence the next Badgerfest now. All my insanity is spilling out onto this forum and scaring people.
You're a slut and a whore! Not my system.
Well, I took up surfing last weekend and finally realise what everyone goes so mental about. It's fun. Lots of it. On a stick!
So everyone should come down and we trek the north coast of cornwall (Hayle beach is very nice) and go surfing.
Top notch.

The Live Ween Podcast
Ok at the risk of sparking off the whole "Why is a podcast called a podcast and not just a download" argument again, myself and an old friend from Uni have delved into the world of the podcast and have produced our first episode, hopefully soon to be available on iTunes.
My friend Nils (an old housemate from Birmingham) is Ween's No. 1 fan. That's the band Ween of course not to be confused with our friend Ween.
So anyway the premis is that Nils has secured permission from the Ween management to play a load of live recordings and I'm there to be educated in the ways of the Ween having no previous knowledge of them.
We're going to hopefully do 6 and see how they go.

Very nice. Is it just me or does the first track sound like 'I'm a blue toothbrush (you're a pink toothbrush)'?
On the podcast subject, may I recommend another from the Guardian Unlimited website which is the Prime Minister's questions podcast. This week, Cameron was busy admiring his new child so William Hague stepped up to the plate and gave Tony a rinsing. Worht a listen.
Other favourites of mine include Music Perspectives (a classical music podcast from the US) and the Today programme from Radio 4.
I was frankly disappointed; the Ween in question isn't my favorite Ween; this Ween alternated between a little uninteresting and making my ears bleed. I know you told me not to get confused but it's hard after 10 years of 'my friend' Ween to suddenly think of 'ecclectic band' Ween.
However despite the fact I don't really care for Ween (that's 'ecclectic band' Ween not 'my friend' Ween) I quite enjoyed it. I did ff most of the songs though, except...Don't bother thingy which was was OK. More random chat next time please (I dunno if that sentiment will be echoed by strangers mind you).
Perhaps a Jammyploy 'cast is in order in the near future; one recorder, one pub, lots of drink, bish bash bosh.

A Jammyploy podcast has been provisionally discussed and may become a reality at some point.
