as some of you will be aware, halo2 is out on the 11th of november pro evo 4 is out on the 12th and spurs v arsenal is on the saturday

i suggest we get as many people as possible round to someones house to have a blatant ploy with beers, copious amounts of xbox pro evo 4 and halo2 sessions.

i've spoken to drew in person and theres a chance he'll come, pedro is a strong possibility and im trying to get noj and tart up too.

if we can get king and jonnyboy, sammy boy and myself. plus some stragglers, it should be something to behold

Hello All.

I know this isnt really anything to do with me as I have nowt even a slither of interest in halo2, however, i find reading your forum more interesting than work. Therefore upon browsing through the posts on this topic I thought it was my duty to remind you all that Chris has a girt big playroom in his house. That would easily fit 12 in and you may be able to throw his parents out and nick the sofa from their snug to drag into it.

Forseeable problems with this venture:
- It requires effort, you would have to clear the space and think of somewhere to stick the pool table.
- You would have to hatch a plan to get the aged p's out of the house. As an example, you could send a small boy to their door claiming that he is lost and far away from home and could they return him to his loving family? (you dont have to use it, it's just an idea).
- It requires effort, you would have to clear loads of space, get furniture in, find plug sockets etc..
- it requires quite a lot of effort
- not sure if the wall is smooth enough for a projector so you would need a screen.
- And last but by no means least, this venture requires quite a bit of effort and forethought.

I've spoken to parents about having at mine, but its not a good weekend aparently because they fly out to florida on the monday and have loads of council crap to do that weekend to.
tart's would be ideal as its smack in the middle of hertford...

but it requires effort.

I'll keep you posted as to the availability of my house.
My parents have expressed a disinclination to have an invasion that weekend, but we'll see.

Also I'm going to the rugby (england v canada) on Sat. and as such not sure when I'll be back.

I have a 10base t hub that we could use if we need it, but no cabling I'm afraid

I can bring a couple of patch cables... and a small 6-port hub...

But if noj has it covered...

I'll bring the cables for sure. Reply if we need the hub, but I can't believe Ween won't have them.

Just got off the phone with the Overlord (that's ween). Sorry this is a fejking late post but I know you're all still at work because you work so damn hard.

I would like to offer my NEW house as a possible venue.

Cons:
Slightly less convenient as it's in Cambridge so matt can't walk home at 4am...well actually...

Pros:
It's only really 45-50 mins from hertford.
2 of my housemates are away this weekend
Plenty of street parking.
It is 10 mins walk from the train station.
It has 11 actual bed spaces available for guests. (3 double sofa beds, 1 double and 3 singles)
It has a large living room attached to a large conservatory so lots of room.
It has a 28" widesreen TV and a smaller 14" doobie.
There is golf nearby for sunday (the famous cambridge lakes).
There is a distinct lack of unappreciative parents who need to pack for a long journey.
The house is awesome.

It is available from Friday (tonight) till Sunday for anyone who needs a place to sleep and has wireless broadband if you need that.

sunday: wake up, go to dannys for the day and participate in what cambridge has to offer.

i'll bring up the projector to dans so screen space isnt an issue.
i have more switches and hubs than i know what to do with, alhtough i havent made up and patch cables yet but i'll probably have enough anyway. i've got a box of cat5e plus about 50 rj45 ends so that'll be plenty.

i might make a trip to tesco tomorrow and purchase some supplies.

finally, if you're board anytime tomorrow come to my house.
i assume williams will need a lift, inwhich case, that needs sorting
