Saturday morning me and the king are going to go up to Snow and Rock at junction 11 on the M 25. We then plan to zoom up to milton keynes to the snow dome for a couple of hours.

Who fancies coming to play?

So how was it?

Well it's easy to get to (really easy from Stalbans 45 mins max) and there's a load of stuff in the same building; pubs, shops, cinema, etc. So you could spend a while there sould you wish, but really, it's all about the slope: First off it has button lifts not good, secondly the snow was rubbish; sticky drifts and icy sheets combined to make riding interesting. However that was just on the day; the snow problems could be sorted. The slope itself was fine; not overly challenging (mostly green probably) but it did have a number of jumps and even a rail . In the end it was good fun; better snow conditions would improve it muchly. I want to go snowboarding now.

Its about £35 for 4 hours from 7-11pm on a friday or saturday evening.

Also when do you lot think it will be warm enough to surf/camp?

yeah yeah snowboarding...dont know when we are free to go though.

surf was clean this weekend but tres tres chilly so just watched it on the internet, started surfing in march last year - on a warm day - because we are pansies.

Should book some time early April though as i have 2 weeks off college then - how convenient.

I guess I should mention that I'd go. Just in case it don't go without saying.
