Woz - just availed myself of an XDA Exec.
Bit of a monster but nice keyboard. I feel a little silly holding this 'laptop' up to my ear to talk.

I'm currently trying to cram as much stuff on it as possible.

Do you have any goodies you can package up and upload somewhere? That virtual pool thing looked incredible but that was a long time ago. I need to fill up my 2GB sd card (actually ment to order a 4GB one but screwed it up).

You'll have to have a play next time i see you.

good lad! so you've finally got rid of that old POS xda 1... welcome to the now!

SE_VGA for proper VGA usage
TCPMP / Betaplayer for divx playback
WiFiFoFum
might also need the .NET CFfor the above.
pocketdivxencoder to re-encode video files to the right resolution/frame rate
DirectPush Email for free (Blackberry style)
Latest O2 Rom with AKU2 update
Opera brower - better than IE
Resco File Explorer - allows mapped network drives over wifi etc. not free, but I'll try and dig a copy out.
Obviously TomTom Navigator
ScanR is an awesome tool if you ever have meetings on whiteboards etc
WinRAR for PocketPC for zipping etc

make sure you're using ActiveSync 4.1 at least (4.2 beta came out today i think)

theres enough to get you started there my friend. give me a shout or catch me on messenger if you need me!

Woz - awsome mate. I've gone through and installed most of that stuff.
I didn't do the flash update though - too scared to screw up this one as well (my first rom update killed the xda completely).

I'm not particularly in need of push email - and i hear the heartbeat that it invovles comes to about 12MB a month which is pricey for my PAYG data plan.

ScanR is also really really impressive!

Now i need to find that remote control app. I have these visions of being able to remotely unlock my car with my phone!

Btw - do these 'indoor' gps things work?
