The plans are very hazy at the moment but I can just make out the following:

sorry for the lack of response pete, I am quite near to hertford on friday, as in actually in hertford.

Can put people up for the night on Fri, but not Saturday as I have a family do.

Is that okay for you king and dan, just the friday???

Preliminary plan

Friday evening:

Late dinner at Paddyfields followed by a few drinks nearby. Jonnyboy has said that he is happy to give people a lift into town from Loren's house, if we wanted to meet there first.

Saturday:

Meet for lunch followed by pitch & putt golf. After mocking the course, celebration of some kind.


The plan lacks crucial details that I hope to fill in the next 16 hours. Let me know when would be the best time to have dinner and i'll book a table.

realistically i'd be looking to get to lorens just before 8. 8:30 booking for dinner should probably be fine for me if not too late for you guys. I can possibly squeeze 30 mins off that if necessary.

I need to be back in Cambs by about 4 so will have to see what time golf is. will bring my clubs!

I don't think I'll make tonight due to M25 issues. I shall have to see about Sat. If not many felicitations of the day and I hope to see tout le monde at Dan's anyway.

Pete, sounds like the deciding factor for the table booking is Dannyboy, as I should be back home in Hertford after 6 at the latest, from where Dannyboy can drop his stuff off, before we get a lift in to town.
