Does anyone fancy going to see
Reginald D Hunter in Aldershot on Friday 25th May?
Grrr: The pound sign strikes again....
Tickets cost ten pounds.
If you don't know who he is theres a link above and he was on HIGNFY on Friday. Funny, louche, black American.
Come on it'll be fun.
louche? what the hell is louche?
Looked it up for those who might be wondering the same:
of questionable taste or morality; "a louche nightclub"; "a louche painting"
or alternatively:
A wine troubled by the presence of suspended particles which cause it to be cloudy.
I'm guessing the former version applies here, unless mikey is talking about a particularly comedic ribina.
Dan
I was going for laid back...but as his tour is entitled Pride and Prejudice and Niggas perhaps louche can stay...

Aldershot? How have we come to Aldershot?
(sorry think only Jonnyboy will get that reference)
Well (ignoring the reference) he is playing the Hackney Empire on Sun 3rd Jun if that would be better...not great for me though; school night.

That's the last time I buy a pack of those cheap Christmas crackers!

I have a spare ticket for Sean Lock at St Albans Arena on 7th Dec if anyone is interested? Me, Jonnyploy and the Tizzmeister are all going.
£15 a pop. Promises to be a good night.
Sounds good. If you can't find anyone to go who lives a bit closer, and if someone is willing to put up with me for a night, I'll happily come along.

Kingol, you are welcome to sleep at Tizzy's. You won't get the spare bed I'm afraid (unless you can forcibly eject Sammyboy from it) but there is a vast (and I mean vast) sofa or if you'd prefer we can arrange an airbed. Bring a sleeping bag though.
Bo.
Is there a plan for Saturday?
As discussed - 7pm at Hammersmith tube
Kingsley - Jonnyboys brother is up for Sean Lock so you wont have to schlep all the way up St All Bran
