My housemates and I have decided we have had enough of not having burgers. So...we have decided to make some burgers. Tasty burgers.

So if you fancy joining us, please do feel free to pop up for a chilled out afternoon probably spent recovering from the weekend.

If you do come, please bring some drink or some meat! If you could let me know your plans (and which you intend to bring) in advance it'll let us plan what we need to buy.

We'll supply an initial cachet of meat and drink and supply other sundries like sauces, buns, salads, coal, Wii etc.

For those without a calander - it is monday 28th May - ie in just over 1 week's time.

I'd better theme the BBQ "Wet and Wild Brolly Party". Then, just to spoil the fun, the weather will be hot and dry.

No worries - as I said the house is open to any of you if you fancy it. Heavy showers predicted for the Sunday but 5 day forecasts of always wrong.

So how did it go Dan? I gather the weather was lovely?

It was actually really fun. Pissed down yes but, despite much ridicule, I decided to light up the bbq anyway. With enough lighter gel (amazing stuff) the coals burned hot enough to actually vaporise the rain before it could land.

Lots of food, about 10 people in total getting casually hammered. Good afternoon's entertainment. Must do it again sometime - when's monsoon season start?
