So then, next week, whats the ploy. When are people getting there? What do we do Thursday night if anything? What do we do Saturday if anything? Who wants to lay the smack down on Noj for old times sake? Whose sheep is that! Do we bring booze if the hotel has none. These and various other questions need answering. Go to it! This is what this website was invented for!
Badgerfest was "Invented"?
That does, however, seem a strangely appropriate turn of phrase. It is, after all, genius, and geniuses invent.
I'll get there when I get there; I'll leave after work and see what time I arrive. I doubt the hotel has booze on tap and that there will be any decent pubs in a motorway service station so if drunkness is to happen, drink may be necessary. Though no doubt the shop'll have something. We could investigate Cardiff I suppose. Tart and Rosie were thinking of finding a place to surf on Saturday I think. At the very least a greasy breakfast is in order. Noj will be under permanent smack-down. Not my sheep. I'm not very helpful or coherent.

probably get there for around 8/ 8.30 as i'll pick mr c up from work ...then maybe we should trundle into cardiff rather than fester in the shite hole hotel?! Saturday - no ideas really....if theres surf though im sure thats what we'll be doing...think it would be prudent to sort group taxi for friday though...you know a people carrier jobby...for getting to the wedding and then onto the reception..maybe we could get a group discount?!
I thought some could drive to the wedding/reception and get a taxi from reception to hotel and get a lift to the car in the morning...

All the above sound like good ideas.
I will be coming straight after work and dragging the Sampie along with with me.
As I am in London on Thursday pm, Sam and I will be getting the train out to St Albans where my car will be waiting to whisk us away. I don't see us getting to St Albans before 6pm to be honest and therefore I doubt we'll get to the hotel before 9pm.
Pling plang plong.
What the hell, surely there's someone higher in the grief hierarchy to absorb some of my smackdown debt????
Also, I'm going to be bringing the Drewminator, so Chris/the Bear/Kang, please try to persuade him to surf so I can stay.
Yes.
And for all those not interested in the slightest in surfing, I suggest we all go for a big fry-up or roast lunch on saturday. Whos with me?
Clifton your comment on facebook re: serving up violent quiche had me crying with laughter. I dont remember you being funny, thats a new skill you've evidently acquired.

I also am taken aback by this..and must investigate further...I shall now log in to face book and view Mr N's profile...something which I have not yet experienced...
Oh and Drew...come surfing why don't you? We'll buy you an ice cream. (Well Chris might at least...)
Just realised it was a private message rather than on my wall so I'll copy it here.
Following me threatening to give Clifton a taste of his own 'smackdown' medicine, he cam back with this:
"l'm going to take you out for dinner with Mr and Mrs Pain and serve you up some violent quiche."
Being fair Noj has always been funny. Well, he's always stolen from funny people and claimed their funniness for his own.
It's almost the same thing.
PS Surf and fry-up are by no means exclusive activities...
It is also worth reminding everybody that you need £5.10 to cross the Severn Bridge. Cash or cheque (better have some cash then).

Its from Mighty Boosh season one....the show that reminds us that the first post is 'the post that hurts the most'.
I hate to say I told you so...
Actually forget that; I love pointing out I'm right.

I'm assuming that the relevant administrators have progressed beyond the 19th century and debit/credit cards are acceptable?
Nope; that's why I said cash or cheque (with cheque guarantee card).
Me and the Drew are going to leave sunny Hants at 4-ish, give or take John/Doo lateness, so should get to Wales by 7-ish.
I'll try and leave around 3. We'll see.
i imagine we'll be there a lot later... circa 9-10... not doubt we'll holla when we arrive...

Word-up jungle was massive!
Thanks Mango for a great do. Hope to see more of you in the near future.
No doubt photies will be published forthwith.
I only had time / effort to put up a couple of photos so far. But by far the funniest was:

Edit: Apologies for the massive picture, but I though it was worth it.
