Sadly, I completely neglected to celebrate my 25th last year. I intend not to make the same mistake twice.

I'd like to organise something up in Cambridge for one of the weekends after new years, just like in olden times.

Potential dates are Saturday's 12th, 19th, 26th.

When are you punks free / not free? I'm guessing I'm contending mainly with booked ski holidays.

Oh my word if only, alas school terms dictates that my bank be bled dry if i were to want to ski as i would have to go in the feb half term - what a bummer -

I would say that we could possibly consider the 26th - but im afraid i havent actually consulted the custard tarty pie on this one nor taken into consideration work and the possibility that we may have to be doing 'domestic' stuff to do with trying to flog our hoose...

26th is looking likely - particulary in the hope that potentials such as the Pale Red Cake Crew will attend.

Is it just me or are we going to have to get the whip out again for the likes of loren, doo, williams, noj etc to get their arsefaces on the Fest? Totally unacceptable behaviour.

I have found the use of work email surprisingly efficient for loren and williams. I will harangue them. as for doooo and noj... your guess is as good as mine.

On a semi-related Clifton theme, I bumped into Matt Clifton in a bar in Camden last Friday. Very random indeed.

Texting works quite well on Noj.

Talking about my birthday again with a mate - he floated the idea of combining with NYE, going to the milton keynes snowdome for an afternoon for some snowboarding fun and then either out in MK for midnight party or minibus back to mine in Cambridge. All very loose but any thoughts on that plan?

Have checked and we can still book at the snowdome on new years eve!

NYE not on the cards for me either.

Snowboarding isn't exactly my thing and we'd planned to have a relatively quiet one in Herts.

I could finally build the BBQ that i bought for the summer and cremate some burgers and i'm sure there's bottles of wine in forgotten cupboards of the house.

by the way, i still haven't got internet. but the guys next door have a wireless network, and if you stand next to the fridge when the door is open then you can try and perform illegal hacking manouvres. and also no cable. But on the plus side we have recently got a new breakfast table! woo hoo

1. Loz - if you're not sure about hosting at yours I would be happy to offer mine. I have that giant homemade firepit that none of you have had the joy of yet. Whereever it is, I'm up for it!

2. Anyone up for a snowboard holiday? Some uni mates thinking of going end jan (prob leaving from stansted) on the 27th - which obviously might tie in nicely with my proposed bday do on the 26th. And I'm dying for some snowboarders to come along as my uni mates are all bloody skiiers!

2. If you'd asked last week Dan I might have said yes. Unfortunately I've got once booked for Feb 17th (along with T & R). I think there's a space if you want it...

re the other nye question. Actually dannyboy, that sounds good for your place. This weekend I have come under (ooer) some desparate lobbying to go to a nye dance type thing with my parents. I am still trying to get out of it as I have found out I have to pay£60 for the privilege as well. But in the event that i am persuaded to go, i don't want to leave people in the lurch.

Loz htat's time you're thinnking of; I allow common folks space but not alway time, linked as they may be. I'm not sure that makes any sense.
