Okay tech people. I have bought various delightful nuggets of pop from Itunes over the years and have never really had too much of an issue with DRM. However, I now want to put music on my Nokia phone and I can't do so with the protected files. Are there any programs out there that will crack the DRM on these for me as I really can't be arsed with the whole burning and ripping shenanigans?

I've had a quick look on t'internet myself, but couldn't find anything current that works.

it does the job with highspeed dubbing
depending on your soundcard you can even do 4 tracks at a time...

i've used it to convert 1000's of m4a files to mp3s

theres cracked versions on mininova i believe

I don't have access to torrents until I get my laptop - any chance of it appearing on here briefly?

myFairTunes maybe worth looking at. It strips the DRM from the mp4 file without re-encoding.

Requires iTunes version <= 7.5 - get from Old Apps.

I'm upset. I was intending to get an iPhone 2 while in SD for the wedding, bring it home, unlock it and make Bob into my uncle. However, I read the highlights of the 'Stevenote' speech and it would appear that I will have to sign up for a 2 year contract with AT&T on purchase of the iPhone. Losers.

The simple solution would be to buy it, fake your own death, leave the country.

Steve will find you and your death will cease to be fake.

Jon, a lot can happen in 4 months; you will get a good deal on a 3G iPhone.

Don't see it working somehow. The reason that people don't buy albums from itunes is that they are overpriced. There's barely any difference between a cd album and getting it from itunes which is ridiculous. This was highlighted recently when Amazon started selling chart albums on download for £3 a pop which is approx half what the same would cost on itunes.

The only reason I download songs from itunes is convenience. On a song by song basis I am happy to pay a couple of pence extra for the simplicity of clicking once to buy download and insert into my music library. Also I know that if I am buying one song at a time then it is because I like those songs. Gone are the days of having a cd album with songs on that you'll never listen to.
