Hiya,
Long story short, my department at IBM should be opening up their internal recruitment to the rest of the world in a few weeks. We'll have jobs for experienced c/java programmers and testers. For the test job, perl and some linux/unix experience would be good, although vmware and clustering of any operating systems would be a real plus. We have space for permanent and contract people too.
Unofficially I'd expect 35k + salaries.
Let me know if you want more info and I'll keep you posted.
Cheers
Noj
I believe I am perfect for this job.
Also, 35k PLUS salaries? Whats the 35k then? Signing-on fee?
ha ha, yes. We are all millionaires, that's why i'm always in such a good mood.

(do they take geography gimps noj?)
It would be hard to know less about computers than some of the people in my department
I believe Pete met with some IBM demi-god a week or so ago in an attempt to gain large amounts of investment for 0% of his company.
Instead they offered him a job.
He was unimpressed.

Can you imagine what they would have had to do to impress him?
I imagine the bar would have been set at jump-starting singularity and risen from there.
Or they could have given him a donner kebab. Hook line and sinker.
it would never have been as good as the ones in manchester...
he'd probably be really offended by the winchester kebabs...

The IBM guy came over from New York.
He didn't bring a kebab with him.
Without the promise of meat, I'm surprised you even spoke to him.
