OK some annoying news...

The venue we've booked "The Orchid Hotel in Bournemouth" has gone into administration, and so we're not sure what's happening with regards to bookings for next year.

We have wedding insurance so we should be covered for most losses, should we have to cancel etc. but please don't book any more rooms until we know whats happening.

You were very wise to get wedding insurance, something we didnt do and now i realise how stupid we were not to even though things turned out ok.

Fingers crossed the administrators manage to keep the hotel open/ sell it to an interested and sympathetic party. Sorry to hear about that, something you dont need so close to christmas.

On the flip side (where they hide all the rubbish songs) there may be a ray of light though. Surely, the other hotels should be falling over themselves to give you better rates now that the world is in economic meltdown. Go oooon!
