What do people think about the idea of hiring a cool house/cottage somewhere (maybe central south coast area) and chilling for a few days over New Years?

Don't really have the spondoolics for hiring places but we are happy to host a badger gathering in Bradninch if anyone can be arsed to travel.

I can appreciate your distance dilemna Dan my Man. Chris is working NY eve, so that limits us also. We need his mum and dads house back. Dang. Anyway, we are happy to host a roast at the ninch location but know it's not ideal for yurz all.

For a live xfest, we have two tv's and one xbox (2 controls + 1 guitar) and I'll bring my uber projector home. Noj - prepare to be Street-fought.

If everyone brings a bunch of drinks, snacks and a few things ovenable (be creative - not just pizza) we should have enough to survive through the nuclear winter, I mean the New Year!

I'm back in the country! Landed about 3 hours ago.

If we can hook up a couple of xboxes that would be good. Could we have an equipment check? I have an xbox with two controllers. Can get hold of a couple more. Also have a decent tv and will pick up the projector from the office so can seat 8 on there easily. Have another TV if necessary.
