Morning everyone,

I was having a cheeky beer or two with Lorenzo in London taaaaaaaaaan last night, and we were discussing the forthcoming Stag Do ploy effort situation.

We have vague plans at the moment but are looking to hold it over the weekend of 3rd and 4th July, if you can keep that free?

Plans include:

Twenty20 cricket (Surrey are playing Glamorgan at the Oval on Sunday 4th k/o 2:30pm)
Wireless festival in Hyde Park 2-4 July (We were thinking the Saturday, although no artists confirmed for that day as yet so kinda depends on that. Pink is on the Friday and Jay-Z on Sunday so at the mo, not exactly setting my world on fire)
TopGolf at Watford (oh yes indeed)
Drinking (naturally)
Big beasty meal along the lines of the Brazilian BBQ effort we did in Manchester (this will probably have to be Saturday night)
World Cup (this will be at the Quarter Final stage at this point so England may or may not still be in it (ha!). Regardless, a game or two could form part of the weekend's festivities)

Some or all of the above can or will or should or might take place. As far as accommodation goes I haven't really figured this out yet but figure some can crash in Hertfordshire or even book some cheapo hotel for the Saturday night.

But for now just block that weekend off in your diary. Or in Drew's case, forget it instantly and be reminded a couple of days beforehand.

If anyone has any other cool ideas (along lines of canal boat etc) that sound fun for 10ish people, let me know.

Sat 3rd - Wireless

Gates open at 12, Starts at 2pm. I'm figuring people can pretty much turn up when they want but if we all aim for 2-3 ish, we can congregate thanks to the wonder of mobile phones. Assuming its a late finish (10-11) we can then all slope off. Some are staying with Jonnyploy. However myself, Drew, Williams etc will no doubt go back to their own beds for the night.

Sun 4th - St Albans / Watford

I have booked a table for 10 at
this restaurant for 1pm. Be there or be square!

After this we will mosey over to TopGolf near Watford

After this there can be further shannon higgins but I assume people will need to get back to their own beds for Mon morning (groan)

I think as long as we are sorted for cars and beds (and Es and whizz) then we should be ok.

Yes hello; Chris and I were thinking of driving up to Jboy's and then venturing in to Londinium with the collective. This way we will have a car in place to return Southwards.

Prob come up Saturday morning, but options I guess are present.

If you're planning to join the shenanigans at mine on the Friday evening then feel free to bring a couple of your favourite beers. However I've got Becks, Magners and red and white wines, so if you are happy with that then there's no need to bring anything. On the food side I'm thinking that we will just get takeaway as I probably won't be arsed to cook.

Wii controllers would be a plus as I only have two. Oh, and if your tastes are more in the multiplayer Halo / MW2 area then please bring your xbox controllers too as I only have one.
