ORANGE PARTY!!
You are all invoked to Rosie and my housewarming spectacular on the sixth of December at our new flat in Exeter. If you wish to respond to this then pls do so quickly as I will have very limited acces to the site after Fri this week.
The address is 24c Blackall Rd, Exeter, Devon EX4 4HE
and i can't be bothered to link you to somewhere like streetmap.co.uk but you're all clever people. apart from Drew who won't read this and will be slapped separately.
So come down to Devon for the weekend and enjoy some party-type mayhem with a suffusion of orange.
I thought I should add for clarification that the idea is that everyone should be wearing something orange right? Even if it's only underwear...but then it has to be worn as overwear.
Or anything really, just use orange as your theme? Wearing, cooking, drawing, masticating, dating (and many other verbs besides), something orange.
Well I think Dale Winton, Gloria Hunniford and David Dickinson are busy so dating seems to be off the cards...we could try stalking them.

Well I'm going to be there... how about everyone else? I'm thinking most effort should be put towards recruiting those that we rarely see. i.e. Drew, Loren, Dannyboy etc. As far as I know, Me, Jonnyboy and King are all going.
Lets get ready to rumble!

Yes indeedy, I'll be there.
Bring on the ... er ... oranges.
Awww thats Sam - you make me feel so wanted! =)
I will do my best to get down there - Exeter is a fucking treck isn't it? I have a sinking feeling that I will have to be in Oxford that weekend though.
How are you planning on going down? Train or ride? Either way can I join in for the journey if I can make it?
Being half Thai I can already claim to be yellow...so now i just need to get a bit sunburnt to fullfil the dress requirements. Could be difficult at the start of an english winter...

All together now:
"Oh pancakes Monday, elephants on Tuesday, dancing on a Friday night.
Oh heart attacks Wednesday, Badgerfest on Thursday, dancing on a friday night."
etc ad infintum... per se pugnato sum carpe diem spankius
Right, I have some bad news and some good news.
Bad: I won't be able to make Tart's ploy on 6th 'cos of the
Good: I've got a new job. Started today working for AA (that's saluting members, yellow vans etc. not listening to people called Dave talking about their troubles). I'm in the National Control Centre, overseeing efficiency and recovery times and stuff. Unfortunately it's shift work 3 days, 3 evenings, 3 off so not only do I have to work that weekend but on Chriatmas Day, Boxing day and all the other days you can think of...but I'm rich so who cares?
King: arse.
Dannyboy: Join me and Jonnyboy as we trek down to exeter on the saturday morning/afternoon. You up for it? Further planning nearer the time.
By the way, I'm in Eurodisney this weekend 'on business' if you can believe such a thing (i dont). so there.
unfortunately, i wont be coming to tarts thing,
final year uni assignments have got the better of me and im swamped by deadlines,
unless any of you can do my SQL for me, its out of the question i think
i'll see you guys over xmas though, im back on the Dec 19th and my first exam is Jan 14th. I will be revising, but I will have to make time for some link up halo and project gotham 2, sam, if you dont have pgr2, get it.... its the shit.
sam - sounds cracking - depends on how work goes but am really up for it if i can make it. had the mariest (?!) day today with my server.
Will be in touch thurs/fri probably.
I have the orangiest shirt ever.

I'm hoping to come but work's kinda busy at the moment and I'm really tired. What's the plan?
I am back in the country, so I too will be making my way down to Exeter this weekend.
i say we hire a 40 ft limo with 0.00001% of Matts salary and all travel down in style.
how long are people planning on staying by the way? I really need to be back to work on Monday.
Ok, lets have a kneecap:
Those coming:
Sammyboy
Jonnyploy
Pedro (superb guest appearance)
Dannyboy
Williams? (come along Matthew... up the college etc)
Those not coming (fools):
Ween (fair excuse - prior commitment)
King (fair excuse - work=money=rich kingsley)
Loren (no excuse - i have asked him and he's a poohead)
Those we don't know about and must be hassled by everyone:
Mango
Noj
Doooo
Pedro: How you getting down to exeter? You want to join me, Jonnyboy and Dan (and possibly Matt) on our quest down to the land of the Orange Tart by train, or do you have the access to a convertible automobile type apparatus?
All: I will try and give Noj and Mango a slap. Who wants to ring Doooo?
Sammyboy
5 of us? On the same train? Surely that's not good for the health of the passengers. What jolly fun.
What time do we have to be there?
Train is between 4 and 4.5 hours. Is tart near the station? Can he give us a ride?
Alternative is to drive - how long is it by car? Could well be a lot (LOT) cheaper too although perhaps not as comfortable for the guy in the middle although we could just stick somone in the boot... I have a car that anyone who is insured can drive so we could take turns - i don't much fancy driving for 4 hours straight myself.
Just a proposal. (shit where's the ring).
I called the bandit known as Noj and it looks like he's being a bandit. More persuasion may be necessary if he is to make his way down to Exeter this weekend.
I heard from Chris that Drew is coming. No word from Marno as yet.

I'm happy to drive down there and anyone who thinks that they can fit in a Fiat Uno is welcome to join me. It looks like it's about a three and a half hour journey from Hertford.

I am getting the train, punks. I've already bought me ticket. As far as I know, Sammyboy is too. Probably aiming for the 3.35 from Paddington which should get into Exeter at about 5.45. Anyone who wants to join our club, give us a shout. I am open to suggestions of getting an earlier train, but a later one would be silly in my view.

58 for a return to exeter. Sounds good to me considering it'll be more than that in just petrol to drive.
Dan, did you check getting tickets online? I got a return to Birmingham for about 13 two weeks ago. Looking at
http://www.thetrainline.com/, it looks like you can get return tickets from around 25. I think you may need to book by 6pm this evening, though.
BTW, it's looking less and less likely that I'm going to make it tomorrow; I've got loads to do over the weekend and I'm really tired.
Matt
Shit I really wish I could go but...I tell you what; I'll try and convince Loren tonught while/after/before rocking out at The Darkness gig...it's small comfort but hey, I'm sure we'll get over it.
The drive down is pretty easy.
Here are the directions:
If I can get a train down for the amount Matt said then that definitely looks attractive - also ploy and boy are going that way so it'll be good fun. Are you very keen to drive it? I'd be very surprised if you got down in the time stated on that website. It generally takes me 3+ hours to get to bristol from Cambridge without traffic. I think you'd have to be very lucky with the traffic to get there under 4 hours at least.
Also - think you get to avoid the drive back with a hangover!!
also - Ploy / boy can i have your mobile nos? I've lost them. Pete too in fact.
how long are you guys staying in exe?
