Right,
So everyone knows about this already but I know things don't really exist until they have been posted on Badgerfest. This goes for opinions, books, graphene and cake
There is no cake.
But there will be!
Now heard several people call for a big and messy bake fest. The plan is to get to mine for Saturday 4th September. There will be baking and fire and hopefully baking with fire (BBQ Cake was discussed in Sri Lanka).
Arrive around 2pm and bring something to either stick straight in the oven or to mix up at my kitchen. I will try to borrow an electric whisk and big bowls. Bring cake tins and anything else you think would be useful.
There will be a prize (of cake) for the most innovative creation.
I'll also buy some ice cream as cake is good with icecream.
I'll have a fire going in the afternoon because fires are pretty fun and there will be a DIY bbq policy. Will provide beers in but free free to bring speciality drinks.
All welcome to sleep over and weather permitting, golf on the Sunday to walk off the unreasonable amounts of cake we will be eating.

This is all kinds of win. We will attend.
Yes.
Though I might actually bake mine before I drive for two hours to Cambridge...
We will be there. I can volunteer home made whipped cream. Does that sound nice? (will make it there, so I guess it would be Cambridge-made whipped cream).

I will be there although can't vouch for my baking prowess. Actually I can vouch for it, it's bollocks. I will be a more than willing taster though.
Also, I am having birthday drinks up in town on the Friday night (3rd) if anyone is vaguely in the area.

Bo!
Good stuff. Will also invite Loren / Ayesha and the Sri Lanka people if they're about.
Pete , Jen - when is Sean's flight in? Friday afternoon? I'll be driving back from Glasgow but will do my best to arrange he is taken care of. Jenny Hodgson, Tap etc welcome to come up if they can as well.
Actually the drive would be longer than 2 hrs as I'll be in the Lake District that weekend...this is unfortunate.

Sorry Dan; I meant to imply that Jess and I won't make it as we will be in the Lake District this weekend.

I'll be there. Michelle won't. Lemon drizzle cake may be.
Sam, Michelle and I are hoping to make it to your drinks on Friday.
Incidentally, we've just bought a house. Our new address is 42 Leswin Road, London N16 7NH. There will be a housewarming when we've moved all the boxes that are barricading our front room.
Small logistics question. I will be meeting Sean in Cambridge and hanging out for a bit before going to your house, can I blag an egg and some butter off of you? That way we won't have any dodgy cookies

Excellent use of the word 'blag' there Jennie. Another step along the way to assimilation.
Both Tizzy and I will be there.
I have in my custardy two Blakes and a Sean.
We're going for a late morning shop tomorrow so if you need any other ingredients let me know.
I have lots of wood for firepit action - should be a good'un.
King - I think I did actually 'get it' the first time but then promptly reinterpreted the world as to how I would like it to be. So...see you tomorrow then!
Matt - completely forgot to list you and Michelle sorry! But thrilled of course you can come with some schrodinger cake.
Noj is birthdaying but the Anandappas and Nas are gracing us with their presence.
