Just switched badgerfest (along with the entire Aluminati empire) onto new mysql servers. I think its a bit quicker but not sure. Submitting a reply still seems to take way too long though. Strange.

The site does seem generally faster though, although that could just be confirmation bias on my part.

and that wasn't...about 15 seconds to submit. No idea why it got slow again.

We're thinking the db might be missing some indexes or something. Other sites are fast on inserts. Could spend an hour on debug but...well.

Submitting an edited post is a lot quicker than submitting a new post if that helps at all.
