I have received some interest from the musical likes of JP and King about a weekend in Cambridge that looks like this:

*Weekend of 30th July*

Saturday - Day at the folk festival. £50 for a full day's civlised entertainment (none of this snoopy doggy poo) starting early afternoon ending late evening. Pub, back to mine, stay the night - have lots of mattresses but nothing luxury.

Sunday - Firepit bbq in the garden. Badger burgers probably not served. Other meaty goodness will be.

I understand that it may well also be a birthday weekend for a couple of you and I would more than delighted to help celebrate such.

How sounds it?

Yeah, good for Pete's birthday celebration...that means he has to come...

Sounds good. Jennie and I will be there.

Jess and I intend to attend Pete's awesome Party.

Ooooh. Excellent. I imagine that I will feel compelled to bring you a selection though. (Mike, bring Hodgell if Jess is finished!)

Jenny Hodgson (and Doug and Erin I believe) (some of you may know her/them from the mega-trip through the States or the baking weekend in Cambridge) will also be attending the July shenanigans.

Ta. Likewise, if any one has any requests for books if mine to bring then I am all ears. Clearly I don't have the selection that Jennie has, but I do have a few gems.

Just heard from Loren and Ayesha and Jenny Hodgson and family as well--all in. Dan, as usual, appears to be hosting an epic badger-event.

Blimey...Dan may have to apply for planning permission on an extension to fit everyone in.

It's going to be cosy. I might need to suggest sleeping bags are brought though I can still fit quite a few on mattresses and we have a sofa bed and a giiiiant beanbag. The double bed in the loft is sadly not available at the moment as we have a temporary extra housemate who's in the loft.
