I thought I'd open a thread for any discussion on the subject...
The wedding is on 20th July 2013 at St Mary's Church in Camberley and the reception will be held at
Northcote House, Sunningdale Park. The venue has accomodation enough for all (and is quite cheap).
That's about as far as we've got so far.
Any requests, comments or insults are welcome.

Phew. I think you'll find most of us can now come.
In practice this looks brilliant

Leisure-time: Tennis court grounds, pool table, squash courts, 5-a-side football court, croquet and 10 course pitch & putt golf course (restricted access during certain weekend dates)
I propose we turn this into Badgerfestfest 2013 and stay for the whole week after. You can even join us and call it your honeymoon. Two birds...everyone wins

def make it a weekend.
Mike; Your mum smells.

Ha. Group honeymoons, the new badgerfest tradition.
Yes; Jennie and Pete take us on their honeymoon around America, Loren and Ayesha ferry us about Sri Lanka; Mike and Jess treat you to a week in Sunningdale at the National School of Government...
Rock and, indeed, Roll.
I'm not discounting it mind.
Thank-you for your insults they have been most refreshing.
Darn I forgot to give you mine. Here it is with love:
You suck badger shenis.

Also, you, uh, read a lot of books? And eat cake with cheese?
I might not be very good at this.

'Badger Shenis' sounds sinister. But I keep on laughing at that one!
Thanks you guys. Jennie your insults are particularly harsh as they are unfortunately true.
1 year to go!
I'm not planning to have a DJ as I can't imagine I'll find one that will agree to not play any Abba. I have some ideas about what I'd like to have playing but I'd particularly like it if you lot had your turn at selecting the tunes. What do you think? Would people be up for providing a set of 30 minutes or more of banging tunes?
Suggestions of how to control all this welcome. I'll have to get a PA together connected to a laptop perhaps?

Actually I reckon pretty much any wedding DJ would agree not to do this - it's your day after all. You main problem is more likely to be them lacking some of the tunes that you
do want. Therefore I approve of the idea of you retaining complete control of the music, or at least delegating that control to us. I for one would be happy to put together a small portion of the playlist.
Can I delegate my 30 minute slot to Jonnyboy as he will have a far more extensive knowledge of appropriate music than I. I'd probably end up with songs from the Lion King with 'Can you feel the love tonight' as your First Dance tune.
Jennie - 'taking the piss' is an art form that took me many years to understand after coming over from the American system. It is completely insane. Don't feel bad.
Sounds good to me...
I can easily provide a PA.
I'm sure the Riley-Hawkins duo can work on some acoustic jazz versions of some classic fantasmagroover tunes if required.
As for the insults - I heard your mum's going out with Malcolm....
BOOM!
Awesome; Woz that would be great! We'd love Riley-Hawkins to perform if you'd want to. How'd you feel about a smooth version of
I.O.U Love by Six by Seven?Dan, DJing is not compulsory, nor will I restrict it to 30 minutes; far too much decent music to fit in just a half hour I'm sure.
Thanks Jon; I knew I could count on you for some top tunes.
Oh, and re-reading the resurrected music thread we must have a late nineties section...
Can I ask if anyone has actually been organised to book accommodation yet? Because it would seem sensible to get this shizz organised.
I'm still up for turning this into a multi-day badger event. Even if we don't do the whole week anyone up for a long weekend going Fri-Mon or Fri-Tues, Thurs-Mon? King any preference for us staying more before / after?
Well there are 273 en-suite bedrooms at the place so we're probably OK...we haven't organised anything with the planner yet but I think you should get a better rate than currently online with the wedding.
As to when: well we're leaving for Italy on Monday 22nd so the choice is yours.

School breaks up on Monday 22nd July. I work Fridays and Mondays. BUGGER.
No we haven't organised anything, we were waiting to be invited! haha.
Not really, we haven't discussed room booking or anything with the other Walkers, I am rather hoping that the grandparents would love to have Orson sleep in with them so we can be irresponsible and get totes bladdered.
Also, since Chris is chief bloke, I expect he will come up on Friday with AwesomeO and I will follow that night.
We haven't organised anything, but I'm sure we are up for lengthening our stay.
I would like to announce that every 'Fester except Drew has now RSVP'd meaning Drew loses. Also, in shock scenes, Loren was the first to reply.
Yes but Loren will be the last to actually show up at the wedding!
Has everyone who wants one booked a room yet?
If not you'll need to get on it: I think all the double rooms are gone - only Family and single/twin left. (As it's a conference centre they don't have heaps of doubles apparently for which I can only apologise.)
To make a reservation please call 01344 634 395 (Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm)
or email sunningdale@deverevenues.co.uk and tell them it is for our wedding.

I think this is the best of the 'Fest for your enjoyment.
