Could you suggest films that are out to rent that I should see? My parents got 3 months free trial with DVDsontap.com so I'm gonna make the most of it...I've already ordered Secretary, 28 Days Later and Equilibrium.

Just had a look at a dvd rental site and they all look pretty wank to me. Apart from Pirates of the Carribbean WHICH I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN!!!! Bonkers.
Regarding Movies in general there is a really good site you should go to: www.imdb.com which is the 'internet movie database'. Really good for when you recognise someone in a movie and cant remember what else they've been in. There are lists of all the cast in every movie ever made and then links to their own past filmography or whatever. Genius. Also in the side bars it has a 'memorable quotes' link which is also fab.

Talking of what other films people have been in, does anyone know what else Miranda 'Eowyn' Otto has been in? The only one I can think of is The Thin Red Line in which she is the only female and has no lines. She looks good in it though.
Well I'd agree that Imdb is useful...and Jon if you want to know why not look? (What lies beneath), but stick to the point please...we have plenty of threads to talk random.
I just wondered if there are films out there i should rent, other than Secretary, 28 Days Later, Equilibrium, city of god, intacto, i capture the castle, and princess mononke
get sidewalks of new york, that's really cool. or get stoned and watch babe, never a more random and enjoyable time have i had than doing just that.
anything from tartan films should be worth a watch tho, versus, irreversible, happiness of the katakuris, shiri,
buffalo soldiers is actually quite funny too, dark humor.
anyway thats my professional opinion.
but seriously sidewalks of new york is the best thing to have come out foir a while.
cool, i'll add it to my queue...Buffalo soldiers aint available yet but i do want to see it.
The Tailor of Panama is worth a look.
